University of Iowa Ethics Bowl Team Competes at University of Chicago

On Saturday, April 26^th, Arissa Khan, Isaiah Pielak, Lizzie Deng, Emma Triaureau, and Sara Chen, all members of the University of Iowa’s Ethics Bowl team, traveled to the University of Chicago to compete against teams from across the United States. Competitors included teams from Harvard University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Georgia, and others. At the end of the day, Iowa’s Ethics Bowl team placed 6^th overall and bested teams from Northwestern University, University of Chicago, Iowa State University, and others.

Their placement on Saturday follows a 1^st placement at the IEB Upper Midwest Regional Competition in November at the University of Chicago and a trip to the IEB National Competition in Norfolk, VA, in February.
